Many families elect to ask for donations in lieu of flowers which we can handle on your behalf. If this is the case, we make a note of this in any announcement placed in the press.
If donations are being collected at a church, venue, cemetery or crematorium we will seek the permission of the appropriate authority on your behalf.
We have a specific bank account for this purpose and closely monitor the income from each funeral.
Donations can also be made via the relevant link on the announcements page of this site. If you opt for that method Gift Aid can be selected.
Approximately 1 month after the funeral, we total up the amounts received and produce a statement of account for the family including a full list of those who have donated. We don't list individual amounts received
for reasons of confidentiality. We then distribute the amount collected as requested by the family to the chosen charity/charities.
